After playing at on campus earlier I saw this on OU confessions 'To the boy who was playing his guitar and singing in the basement of adams today. You made my heart melt every time you opened your mouth or strummed the guitar. Definitely play "I will follow you into the dark" always and forever because you sing it so well. Playing two shows on back to back nights at the same bar, sound check at 4, show at 10:30, done by 1:30 breaking down the stuff and packing it up to do it all again the next day, going to bed at 6am, and you know what this is what you learn to live for when the lights are what keep you alive. Everyone started out like this Jay-Z, Elvis, Michael Buble, Eric Church, they all had to start somewhere. I love this, wish I could make it a full time thing 4 nights a week. #roadwarrior Time to get back to the day job tomorrow. |

#bestgolfstories I was probably 9 years old at the time and starting to get pretty good at golf (considering I was 9). I was playing with my dad and a couple of his friends at Westwood, I had been roped into playing a fundraiser tournament for the Norman High Pom Squad. I hated playing scrambles, it messed with my swing but today was different. I was dialed in, on the 9th hole at Westwood I won my first closest to the pin by stiffing a 5 wood in around five feet from the cup. I got my picture with the pom squad and I got to feel like I was hot sh!t. That's when I figured out I like this golf stuff. |
